Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 July 2026

Your trust is the foundation of a clinical tool. This policy explains, in plain terms, what CuraSim collects, how it is used and protected, and the control you keep over your data and your patients’ records.

Encrypted & access-controlled

Data is encrypted in transit and passwords are hashed — access is limited to what the service needs.

Never sold or rented

We do not sell your personal data or your patients’ data, and we never rent it to advertisers.

You control the record

The patient data you enter is yours; we process it on your behalf, under your professional duty of care.

AI only to power features

Case text and uploads go to an AI provider solely to generate the analysis, report or answer you asked for.

Introduction

CuraSim (“CuraSim”, “we”, “us”) provides a clinical workspace for homeopathic practitioners, students and clinics — a repertory, AI case analysis, Materia Medica, diagnostics, patient records and a professional community. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.

It applies to the CuraSim website and application. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1 · Information we collect

We collect the information needed to run the service for you:

  • Account & professional details — your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), professional role and qualifications, and any verification documents you upload during registration.
  • Patient data you enter — records you create about the people in your care, which may include names, dates of birth, contact details, conditions, visits, vitals, prescriptions, family history and media or documents you attach.
  • Clinical inputs to AI features — the case narratives, symptoms, diagnostic images or PDFs, and community messages you submit for AI analysis, reporting, mentoring or moderation.
  • Usage & device data — log data, approximate location derived from your IP, browser and device information, language preference, and cookies or session tokens needed to keep you signed in.

2 · How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain and secure the service, and authenticate you at sign-in;
  • Generate the features you request — repertorization, AI case analysis, diagnostic reads, the pharmacy mentor and community moderation;
  • Protect the service and its users through rate-limiting, abuse prevention and moderation;
  • Respond to your requests and provide support;
  • Communicate service and security information (for example, verification codes and account notices);
  • Improve reliability and quality, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.

3 · AI processing

Several features are AI-assisted. When you use them, the relevant content — such as a case narrative, an uploaded ECG or scan, or a community message — is sent to an AI provider to produce the output you asked for (an analysis, a structured report, a mentor answer, or a moderation decision).

AI outputs are decision-support only and are intended to be reviewed by a qualified clinician; they are not a diagnosis. We use AI processing to deliver the feature, not to sell your data, and we do not permit your content to be used to train third-party models except as needed to provide the service or with your consent.

4 · Your role and patient data

When you enter information about your patients, you are the controller of that data and remain responsible for it — including having a lawful basis and any consent required to record it and to use AI-assisted tools on it. CuraSim acts as a processor, handling that data on your behalf and under your instructions to provide the service.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the records you create.

5 · How we store and protect data

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, uploaded files are held in access-controlled object storage, and access to systems is restricted to what is necessary to operate the service.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will act in accordance with applicable law.

6 · Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run CuraSim, and only as needed for that purpose. These include categories such as:

  • Cloud hosting, database and object-storage providers;
  • An AI processing provider for the AI-assisted features;
  • A real-time messaging provider for the community;
  • An email provider for transactional messages.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or asset transfer — in which case we will continue to protect your information under this policy.

7 · Cookies and sessions

We use cookies and similar technologies that are essential to the service — for example, to keep you signed in via a session token, to complete one-time verification, and to remember your language preference. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.

8 · Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it. You can request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.

9 · Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise many of these directly in the app, or by contacting us using the details below.

Where you have entered data about your patients, requests relating to that data should generally be directed to you as the controller; we will assist you in responding to them.

10 · International data transfers

CuraSim serves practitioners in many countries, and our providers may process data in locations outside your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable law.

11 · Children’s privacy

CuraSim is a professional tool intended for practitioners, students and clinics, and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children as users. Where you record data about child patients, you do so under your own professional and legal responsibilities.

12 · Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
